I wanted to call this post “The Many Faces of Hackers,” as the infographic below suggested.
But, really, hackers rarely show us their faces. They are like the Dementors from Harry Potter’s story− faceless, cold, and deadly.
Are we ever going to get rid of malicious hacking?
For the Internet of Things to grow and succeed, hacking has to be taken under control. Otherwise, all those connected devices could be turned again us−and this is already happening, as can be seen here.
And once hacking/hackers are under control, then we just need to worry about “AI going rogue” 😉
