Tesla Just Got Some Competition

In the video below, Toyota Motor Corporation President Akio Toyoda talks about the company’s mission to prove that the Mirai, an all-new hydrogen-powered fuel cell sedan, can offer the convenience and performance of a conventional gasoline-powered vehicle.

And this is how the process of fueling the car with hydrogen happens (and the first 3 years of usage are free!):

Looks pretty similar to the regular car-fueling process.  Nothing too scary.

I feel good about the future of the Mirai, especially with such a huge car-maker behind it.  I look forward to more news about it in the future.

Also, healthy competition between fully-electric and hydrogen-electric cars is good for us because it will drive the price down and the quality up.
