The Hierarchy of IoT “Thing” Needs

Below is the Hierarchy of IoT “Thing” Needs.  It’s sort of an outlook on IoT from IoT’s point of view.  The absolute necessities (and things that need to be taken care of first) are at the bottom.  The ultimate goals, future directions, and what will “make IoT happy” are at the top:

This also reminded me about the book What Technology Wants by Kevin Kelly.
