According to CB Insights, Intel Capital is the leader in the area of IoT investments. Qualcomm Ventures, Foundry Group, and Kleiner Perkins are next.
This chart shows the point when these 141 private companies reached the $1 Billion valuation mark. Clearly, things are happening faster in recent years.
